Money: what you pay, when, and to whom
LoongBuy describes its own billing in two sentences. In most cases you pay twice, first for the product and second for the international shipping; and it is currently in a zero service fee mode, so there is no purchasing commission between the two. Everything else on this page is the detail those two sentences leave out: the exchange rate, the two wallets, where refunds land, and how to tell a real payment request from a fake one.
A third bill, duty, is not LoongBuy's and arrives at your end. It is covered on the customs lines page; here it only appears as a line in the list.
The bill in five lines, and the page that sets each
Nothing here is a fee this guide invented. Each line names the official page it comes from and the date LoongBuy last updated that page.
- 01
Goods and freight inside China
Paid at submission, in the currency you chose, converted from the yuan price at checkout. This is the first of the two payments and the only one that reaches the seller.
- 02
International shipping
Estimated at submission, settled after packing on the chargeable weight. The difference is refunded or charged, per the Parcel and Billing Rules page of 14 April 2026. Coupons apply here and nowhere else.
- 03
Add-ons you chose
Detailed photos, measurements, video, vacuum packing and the rest are priced on the order and parcel pages at the moment you add them. The one add-on with a price printed on a policy page is the parcel rehearsal, RMB 20, deducted from the shipping fee if the parcel ships.
- 04
Storage after the free 90 days
RMB 0.1 per kilogram per day with a minimum of RMB 0.1 per item per day, on chargeable weight with a volume factor of 8000, from the Storage page of 21 April 2026. The clock starts at Warehoused; the total limit is 180 days.
- 05
Duty, VAT and clearance
Charged by the destination, paid by you. Some routes require a tax ID at submission. For EU parcels at EUR 150 or less this is the per-line duty described on the customs lines page.
The exchange rate is the fee nobody prints
The Payment and Top Up page, updated 14 April 2026, says the system converts automatically when your card or wallet currency differs from the settlement currency, that the charged amount may differ because of exchange rate movements, bank charges and channel rules, and that the amount your bank takes is the one that counts. The fee rate for each method is shown on the payment page. What is not shown anywhere is the rate used for the conversion itself.
So we measured it. On 29 July 2026 the platform's own currency table priced the dollar at 6.22 yuan, the euro at 7.08 and the pound at 8.27. On 31 July 2026 a spot check of a yuan-priced item put the dollar price shown at checkout about 8.9 percent above a mid-market conversion of the same figure. On a CNY 130.80 item that is roughly USD 1.73. Zero service fee does not mean zero margin; on the days we looked, the margin sat in the rate.
The final amount charged by your bank or payment provider shall prevail.

It moves, and it is not unusual for an agent. The habit that protects you costs a minute: convert the yuan price yourself at a mid-market rate before you pay, compare it with the checkout figure, and treat the gap as part of the price of the item. If it widens between visits, that is information.

Two wallets, and which one your refund lands in
Balance and LoongPay are both wallets inside the account and both pay for orders, parcels and services. The difference is the exit. Balance can be withdrawn under platform rules; LoongPay cannot be withdrawn, cannot be moved back to Balance and cannot be sent to a card. Both pages say to check which wallet you are funding before you top up.
Refunds follow the money back. An order paid with LoongPay is refunded to LoongPay, with no exceptions listed. An order paid by card or Balance is refunded to Balance, which you can spend or apply to withdraw. The Withdrawal and Refund page explains why you cannot pick a destination: channels require refunds to go back the way they came, and the rule exists to block laundering and fraud.
Withdrawals are reviewed and paid in batches around the 10th and the 25th of each month, at most twice a month per user. Refunds are usually reviewed within one to three business days of the ticket. Money reaching a card or bank usually takes 7 to 15 business days and can take 30. LoongBuy says it adds no withdrawal fee of its own; banks may.
Paying safely, in the order the official pages put it
Five habits, four of them from the anti-fraud notice of 27 April 2026 and the payment pages, one from the coupon rules.

Pay inside the website, and nowhere else
The notice says LoongBuy never asks for extra payments over WhatsApp or other social platforms, that payment and top-up notifications come only through the system or official email, and that payment links from any other channel are fraudulent.
The ONLY valid way to make a payment is by logging into the LoongBuy official website and completing the payment within the system.

Choose the method by region, and read the fee line
Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB. E-wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Alipay+, Skrill. Local methods vary by country, from BLIK and Trustly to PIX, OXXO and KakaoPay. Cryptocurrency where available. Each method carries its own fee and its own conversion, shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Top up or pay directly, then wait before paying again
Top-ups usually land in real time and within 1 to 120 minutes at the slowest. If nothing has arrived after two hours, the page says to contact support with proof of payment. If an order does not update after a payment, the page says not to pay a second time.
Use a coupon where it works, which is shipping only
Coupons offset the international shipping fee and nothing else, one coupon per parcel, and the FAQ gives 90 days as the usual validity. Points can also offset shipping, up to 10 percent of the parcel's international fee, and each point entry expires 365 days after it is earned.
Keep the records a dispute will ask for
The Withdrawal and Refund page lists what support needs to act: order or parcel number, account, time and amount, a screenshot of the payment method and the bank deduction record. Keep them from the first payment on.
Refunds and withdrawals, by the clock
Timings as printed on the Withdrawal and Refund page of 14 April 2026 and the Parcel and Billing Rules page of the same date. Bank time is on top of platform time.
| Case | Where the money lands | Official timing |
|---|---|---|
| Refund of an order paid by card or Balance | Balance | Review usually within 1 to 3 business days of the ticket |
| Refund of an order paid with LoongPay | LoongPay, no other destination | Credited to the wallet once processed |
| Withdrawal of Balance | The original payment route where applicable; PayPal after review for other funds | Batches around the 10th and 25th; 7 to 15 business days to a card or bank, up to 30 |
| Shipping overpaid against the estimate | Your LoongBuy account | After the parcel is packed and dispatched |
| Rehearsal fee after a cancelled parcel | Not refunded | Deducted from shipping only if the parcel ships |
LoongBuy itself does not charge additional withdrawal handling fees.

Money questions from readers
Short answers, each with its page.
01Why was I charged more in dollars than the yuan price converts to?
Because the conversion is LoongBuy's, not your bank's. The Payment and Top Up page says the system converts automatically and the bank's final charge prevails. On 31 July 2026 we measured the checkout price at about 8.9 percent above a mid-market conversion; the figure changes.
02I topped up LoongPay by mistake. Can I move it to Balance?
No. The Payment and Top Up page says LoongPay cannot be transferred back into Balance and cannot be withdrawn. It can be spent on orders, parcels and services inside the site.
03Does LoongBuy charge a service fee?
Its FAQ says it is currently in a zero service fee mode: nothing beyond the product cost, the international shipping fee and customs-related fees, with add-ons charged if you choose them. The margin we measured sits in the exchange rate.
04Someone on WhatsApp says my parcel needs an extra payment.
The anti-fraud notice of 27 April 2026 says LoongBuy never contacts users on WhatsApp or other social platforms for payments, that notifications come only through the system or official email, and that any other payment link is fraudulent. Do not pay; report it to support.
05How long until a refund reaches my card?
Review usually takes 1 to 3 business days after the ticket, and the money then takes 7 to 15 business days to reach a card or bank, up to 30 in some cases, per the Withdrawal and Refund page. A refund to Balance or LoongPay is quicker because it stays inside the account.
