Checks: three of them, and only one is done by the warehouse
Before an item reaches LoongBuy's warehouse, two checks are yours: the listing and the seller. After it arrives, the third check is the warehouse's, and the Inspection Information page, updated 4 September 2026, says exactly how far it goes: order details and visible appearance are compared and photographed; authenticity, material, fit and function are not judged. Everything on this page follows from that sentence.
The order matters. A listing the warehouse cannot read produces photos that settle nothing. A seller whose disclosed flaws you skipped produces a flaw the inspection treats as normal. By the time three to seven photos arrive, most of what you could have checked has already been decided.
How to judge a listing before you paste it
Five things to read on the marketplace page, in the order they save money.
Read the title as the seller wrote it
Catalogue cards shorten titles to fit. The marketplace page carries the whole thing, and the whole thing is what the warehouse compares the parcel against: style, colour, labelled size, quantity, model.

Filed under belts on the catalogue, this is a belt bag. The title says so; the tile does not. Find the disclosed flaws, because they will be accepted
The Inspection Information page counts defects the seller already disclosed as normal. A listing that says the print may sit slightly off centre has told you what the photos will show and that no claim follows from it.
Make sure the listing can be read at all
The same page names the links the warehouse cannot verify against: 1 RMB auction links, mystery bags, universal-payment links, shipping-only links, quantity links, and blurred, censored or unrecognisable listings. Details those pages do not show cannot be checked when the parcel arrives.

A collection listing. The warehouse can compare the pair that arrives with the listing only as far as the listing shows it. Check the group and the route flag
Perfume is a liquid, watches and eyewear are named restricted categories, electronics may carry a battery. Each of those shortens the route list before anything is bought, and each is a declaration group of its own if it travels with something else.
Read the price in yuan, and convert it yourself
Catalogue prices are in yuan. The dollar or euro figure at checkout includes LoongBuy's conversion, which on the days we checked ran several percent above a mid-market rate. The money page has the numbers.

A collection card: one listing, nine designs. The variant you choose on the marketplace page is the order.
What inspection confirms, looks at and does not judge, by category
Seven rows of the official table, from the Inspection Information page updated 4 September 2026, in the page's own order. The last column is the one most people skip and the one that decides whether a complaint has anywhere to go.
| Official row | Confirms | Looks at | Does not judge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clothing | style, colour, labelled size, quantity | main visible front and back; visible buttons, zippers, pockets, sleeves or trouser legs | minor same-colour variation, fold marks, slight stitching or logo-position differences, deep lining |
| Coats and Outerwear | style, colour, labelled size, quantity | main exterior; lining visible through normal opening; buttons, zippers, sleeves, pockets | deep lining that cannot be exposed, subjective warmth or fit, minor zipper wear |
| Shoes and Boots | style, colour, labelled size, quantity, left and right pair | main upper and outsole; obvious pair mismatch; visible length consistency; listed accessories | actual fit, insole and front interior, minor glue marks; small shoe-box damage on shoes below RMB 500 is not treated as an abnormality |
| Bags | style, colour, labelled dimensions, quantity | main exterior; handles, shoulder straps, zippers, main logos; directly visible listed accessories | protective wrapping on straps and hardware is not removed; deep compartments; gifts not shown in the listing |
| Accessories and Jewelry | style, colour, labelled dimensions, quantity | main exterior, packaging and directly exposed parts | authenticity or material identification, removal of protective film, details covered by packaging, wear-fit judgement |
| Cosmetics and Skincare | style, colour, quantity, net content shown on the package | outer packaging; clearly visible expiry information; visible leakage or packaging damage | authenticity, ingredients, smell, texture; sealed contents are not opened |
| Digital Products, Electronics and Small Appliances | style, colour, visible model information, quantity | main exterior; outer packaging information; directly visible listed accessories | power-on, charging, networking, function, compatibility and performance testing; sealed boxed contents |

Eligible items normally receive 3 to 7 standard QC photos.

How to read the photos when they arrive
Standard photos show the main visible surfaces, basic labels, packaging and arrival condition. That is the official description, and it is also the limit.
- 01
Count them against the range
Three to seven standard photos per eligible item, with the number and angles depending on category, size, packaging and what can safely be shown. Where the order page supports it, up to three additional photos are free; beyond that, detailed photos are a paid add-on.
- 02
Compare, do not admire
Put the listing beside the photos and check the four things the warehouse itself checked: style, colour, labelled size, quantity. A photo that looks good is not a photo that matches.
- 03
Know what a photo cannot settle
Fit, material, authenticity and whether a device powers on are outside the scope for every category in the official table. Measurements such as shoe length, garment length, chest width and sleeve length are an add-on; so is video. The electrical function check is listed on the add-ons page as Coming Later.
- 04
Decide before it ships
The page says to review the result and the photos before international shipment, and that requests for additional photos, returns or exchanges have to be made before the parcel ships. After dispatch the question moves to the carrier.
- 05
Sealed things stay sealed
Plastic seals, tamper strips, protective film, hygiene seals and packaging that affects resale or collectible value are not opened. Forwarding orders get parcel acceptance, outer-package checking, prohibited-item screening, weighing and warehousing unless an add-on is chosen.

Your window to act is the storage clock
Free storage runs 90 days from the day an item's status becomes Warehoused, and the total limit is 180 days, from the Storage page updated 21 April 2026. After the free period the fee is RMB 0.1 per kilogram per day with a minimum of RMB 0.1 per item per day. An item still unsubmitted at 180 days with no response is treated as abandoned. Parcels that arrive without a matching order get 90 days from sign-in, and because they match no account, no reminder can be sent.
Inside that window you can ask for extra photos, choose add-ons, return an item to the seller where the seller agrees, and decide what travels together. The window is the whole point of the warehouse. Use it before the shipping payment, not after.
What to pack together, by declaration group

Sellers: how to judge a seller when the warehouse will not
LoongBuy buys from the seller you chose and inspects what arrives. It does not vouch for the seller. The current help pages leave the judgement to you; an earlier edition of the same help centre, as it stood on 26 May 2026, spelled out the old marketplace logic: prefer shops that have paid a deposit and hold a seller rating of at least three hearts, treat low-rated shops without a deposit as a risk of non-delivery or fake dispatch, and note that Tmall and JD listings carry the platform's own genuine-goods guarantee at a slightly higher price.
The logic still holds because the inspection scope has not changed in the direction that would make it unnecessary: authenticity and brand verification are still outside the check. So the seller page is where that question gets answered, by the seller's own history, not by a photo.
Two more things to read before paying. Whether the seller discloses flaws, since disclosed flaws pass inspection. And whether the shop sells the item in the variant you want, since the warehouse confirms the labelled size and colour against the order, not against your intention.

Before and after you sign for the parcel
From the Parcel Delivery Notes page and the FAQ, both read 10 October 2026.
Look at the box before you sign
Check that the outer packaging is intact. If it is not, or if the weight feels wrong, open it in front of the courier where that is allowed and keep the carton and the tape.
Photograph first, unpack second
Photos or video of the sealed box, then of the opening, then of the goods. The delivery notes page asks for exactly these when something is wrong, and they cannot be taken afterwards.
Report quickly, with the three things they ask for
Damage, missing items or anything abnormal after signing goes to customer service as soon as possible, with photos of the outer packaging, photos of the goods and proof of delivery.
Know the case you control
The delivery notes page lists the situations in which a claim cannot proceed, and the first is yours to prevent: the required materials, outer packaging photos, product photos or proof of delivery, cannot be provided.
Questions about checks
Each answer names the page it rests on.
01The photos show a scuff. Can I refuse the item?
Inside the storage window you can ask for extra photos and request a return to the seller, which needs the seller's agreement. Whether the scuff counts depends on the category: minor marks and defects the seller disclosed are within the normal range on the Inspection Information page. Decide before the parcel ships; afterwards the request is no longer available.
02Will the warehouse tell me if the shoes are genuine?
No. Authenticity and brand verification are listed as outside the scope for every category on the Inspection Information page, updated 4 September 2026. The check is style, colour, labelled size, quantity and the pair matching left to right.
03Can I get more than seven photos?
Up to three additional photos are free where the order page offers them. Beyond that, detailed photos and video are paid add-ons, and the add-ons page says to order them before the parcel is packed.
04The seller sent the wrong colour. What happens?
Colour is one of the four things the inspection compares against the order, so a mismatch is what the check exists to catch. The result appears with the photos in your orders, and the return or exchange request has to be made before the parcel ships.
05I signed for the parcel and then found an item missing.
Contact customer service as soon as possible with photos of the outer packaging, photos of the goods and the proof of delivery, and keep the carton and tape. The Parcel Delivery Notes page says a claim cannot proceed without those materials.
